Majestic Guardian

Majestic Guardian was painted as a companion piece to the Playmates of the Sea.  It is an original oil on canvas, 24” x 30”.  I tried to capture the prowess of the dolphin, and his protective nature, as well as the simple beauty of the clear ocean waters.  The light of the sun reflects on the wet surface of the dolphin just as the powers-that-be seem to have bestowed an enlightened intelligence and personality upon this blessed friend of man, and sea creatures alike.
